Bond Film Is Shaken And Not Stirred Much By BillF on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Quantum of Solace ( 2008) PG-13 and 106 minutes staring Daniel Craig in his second bond film. Also staring Mathew Almalric as the environmental villian. Judi Dench does a great job again in the role of "M" and Olga Kuryelenk as the lead bond girl. It is directed by Marc Foster.

I have seen all the bond films and own most on VHS or CDs . You will like it for action, differnt senery, 6 differnt countries filmed in a new Bond film record, and a tough more serious bond. This movie is not tounge and cheek like Roger Moore played bond in several bond films like my favorite Moore Bond Spy Who Loved Me. Personally I think it is in the top third of the bond films for action, strong female roles, and some suprises. The plot is semi believable but the main weakness is the search based on the past is remains cloudy in my mind. Also, I miss the introductions of new gadgets "Q" made famous. The scenes with Bond and "M" are great and the lead bond girl is well filled here.
