Bonds 4pk Of Socks Pricey You Say? By theuniGuy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I've always liked a good pair of white socks, and over the years i've tried everything from long black work socks, right through to sports socks, and i've always found that the feel of a bonds sock is something different. At $11.99 Australian a packet, or about $3 a pair, the Bonds athletic ankle socks are the ones i buy from my local Trade Secret. Being short they may not be so good for when i'm wearing formal work clothes, however for a day out with the guys they're fine.
The material on these are 100% cotton, and from what my mum tells me thats good for airing out the feet, as generally a large proportion of socks have blends of polyester. The socks themselves are a bit too colourful for my shoes, and personally if bonds brough out more plain white socks, i'd be much more happier.
Due to my big toe's nail being quite long, i tend to get small tears in the end of the socks, leading to the socks being thrown away the next week. This might be the sock, however i believe it;'s my feet.
Instead of buying the cheapiest sock, try a Bond's Sport sock, you will notice the differences from the first time you put it on, to the last time you do.
