Book: Christmas Letters By Debbie Macomber By rcpae on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I was really excited when I received this book for Christmas from my Mother and Father in Law. I love to read! I have to say that I was slightly disappointed in this book. Christmas Letters does grab your attention right away, but I felt that what really lacked was the character development. This book is a romantic comedy so you want to FEEL for the characters. I like to really be pulling for them all thru the book. I suppose that is a bit nerdy, but I really love books. This book did not make me really feel like I knew any of the characters very well.

The book is about a lady and an author that lives in her building. He writes parent help books and she completely disagrees with his advice.

If you are dying for a book and this is what you had in your hand, I would say go for it. But if you had a choice, I would not choose this book.
