Book Review: Jane Austin Book Club By K. Fowler By espressocup on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Jane Austin Book Club is about a group of people that hold a book club of Jane Austin books, and the life circumstances that occur when they are not reading the Austin books. Some of the members can truly relate to Jane's shy, introverted personality as an observer of life who became such a well-known writer. All the members of the group wind up becoming changed as a result of joining the group, changing their perceptions about life issues, both small and big that help to improve their lives in a positive way. It is no surprise that a movie has recently been made out of this book. Austin's fiction so frequently focused on relationship problems and the delicate way that these needed to be handled, and it is interesting to watch how this theme is shown throughout the book -- that relationship issues must be handled delicately. This book does have some gentle humor, mostly this is a feel-good book.
