Leslie Sansone is well-known for her Walk Away the Pounds video series. Her wonderful positive attitude and great walking tapes have helped many get into shape. This book is an extension of her walking videos and this book offers a 6 week program to help you develop a walking routine. The book discusses diet, exercise and attitude. Sansone is positive and chipper without being Pollyanish. She is very helpful, suggesting exercisers start with a new pair of sneakers as they are going to be doing a lot of walking. Walkers are encouraged to join her online forum for further support and encouragement from other walkers around the country, and the book ends with further tips to help keep you on track. This is a great book to help get you started on a structured walking routine if you want to get in shape or haven't stuck to a set exercise program for awhile.
