Boots For The Winter, Saves My Shoes By dade on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I am not a winter person, by nature. I live through the winter by, pretending it is not really cold and icy outside.
This winter, I needed some boots to wear, so I wouldn't turn my good shoes into crap, from trying to clear out the driveway, so the cars could get in and out.
I did not want anything too expensive. I wanted a good pair of winter boots that would do the trick.
I got a pair of C9-Champion, Rafi Nylon Zip Boots, in black. They are a warm boot with zip closure, padded footbed and high collar, to keep the snow and slush out. They have a rubber outsole with Thermolite lining against wetness.
This winter, I will be more prepared. My ambition is to save my two pairs of shoes. Just one of my pair, costs almost twice the price of this pair of Champion boots. If this pair of snow boots can save my shoes, then it will be more than worth my buying them.
They do fit well and feel warm. If they do not work out, the store has a 90 day return policy. I can't lose on this.

Love Target!!! Sounds like you have a win win situation with these boots :)
Does the pretending work? Because I'm not a winter person either, and all of the other things I've tried to make the cold go away have failed.
