Bosch Platinum Plus 4 Spark Plugs By JOEY on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I had my mechanic put the Bosch platinum plus 4 spark plugs in my Subaru Forster about 3 years ago. They have been firing just fine with no problems at all noted. I have been told that these plugs can stay in service for quite a number of years without changing them. They come preset so there is no need to gap them. I noticed right away that the engine seemed to respond quicker. As I accelerated I noticed right away that it seemed much smoother. The only catch as I see it on these spark plugs is that they cost more than regular plugs. At the time of purchase about three years ago I paid about 25.00 for them and I thought that to be pretty costly compared to regular plugs. So I could see how some would consider it cost prohibitive. I personally feel since they work so well and last much longer than regular plugs that they are worth the extra money. I will continue to use them as in my opinion they are the best plugs I have ever used. Thumbs up for this winner from Bosch.

I leave this kind of decision to my mechanic! I am happy that these work well for you and the cost will average out to be a great deal over the years of useage.
My mechanic put platinum plugs in my Forester because it is so hard to change the plugs that he didn't want to have to do it very often. They are still going strong after 60,000 miles.
These really are quality spark plugs. We bought them about 3 years ago for our Daytona and they worked great up until last month (when they still worked, but I killed the transmission on the car, lol). We bought them even though they were expensive partly because we got a $20 BP gas card as a rebate offer. They are great spark plugs tho!
The quality of these spark plugs sound excellent!
Platinum sparks plugs are the way to go!

My truck used to start faster before i install them. little better gas millage, bad engine performance and they are too expensive. not worth the money
