Bose Companion 3 Multimedia Speakers By jabbr on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I use my computer for my home sound system and have my iTunes running through the Bose Companion 3 speakers as well. For computer speakers the sound is remarkable. There is a sub but interestingly enough through the Bose technology you don't get a humping bass and you can have higher music levels while living in an apartment etc. I like the sound of these speakers: they have a scooped sounds - highs and bottom are boosted. For my ear, this is desirable and the topend of thess speakers is not harsh. Very much enjoyed this product. I used to plug my computer into the back of my stereo etc. with an 1/8 pin to RCA and now I can merely plug the Bose system into my laptop and instantly have a home sound system sussed out.

Pricey, but I've always heard good things about Bose.
