Bose Headphones The Best I've Experienced By Dave on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I've always heard of the mystique of BOSE quality, but it took a headphones purchase to find out for myself.

BOSE QuietComfort 2 headphones are some of the best-sounding headphones I've experienced. They somehow maintain the audio quality of a large symphony hall packed into a relatively tiny product.

I cannot say enough to the audio quality of these headphones, and I certainly am wary of headphone capability. Some headphones offer an inferior sound to speakers, but in this case the quality is maintained. It is surprising and impressive.

The earcups fit nicely around the ears and are quite honestly comfortable. Lined with leather (or vinyl) for the earcups, they really do feel good for extended periods of time.

BOSE QuietComfort 2 headphones also have noise cancellation capabilities by drowning out sound when no audio is coming in. I've found this to be effective for when I'm on the job or in loud situations (although, they won't replace earplugs). They do not cancel out the noise of airplane jets entirely, but if you put some music through them, you won't hear those jets anymore. You almost can even sleep with these on.

These headphones are slightly pricy, but with the BOSE QuietComfort 2 headphones, it seems you are getting what you are paying for.
