Boss Pw10 V Wah By Jonny Randall on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This is a great, versitile Wah pedal. Not only does it have 8 wah options, it also has 7 distortions built into it. The wah pedals it can model are: Crybaby wah, Vox Wah, and the Morley Bad Horsie Wah. Along with these are the Custom option, which allows you to create your own custom wah, Advanced, which allows another type of customization, Bass Mix, which is designed for use with a bass guitar, Voice, which simulates various types of computerized vowels and word-like sounds, and Uni-Vibe, which simulates the rotary style amps and effects.

The distortions it has are Boss Metal Zone, Muff Fuzz, Vintage Overdrive, Marshall Distortion, Turbo Overdrive and Blues Overdrive. All of these are great sounding, high quality distortions. Along with all this it has a Wah Range knob to adjust the frequency the wah is sweeping, and 3 memory settings that are set up with a heel switch to quickly change between different settings.

Overall a great sounding and versitle Wah. The only setback is becuase it has so many options, it requires a lot of tweaking to get the sounds you are looking for, but if you are patient, or enjoy tweaking then it is not a problem.

I prefer the Vox wah myself. I have been skeptical of multi effects in one pedal, especially a wah.
