I don't collect Boyd's Bears, but I'd like to. They have so many wonderful items to choose from, each one with its own persoanality.

This little sweetie was given to me a few years ago. I loved it immediately and it always makes me feel good when I look at it.

She's got green eyes, a bright purple hat adorned with large purple and hot pink flowers with greenery for accent. There is a soft green bow tied around her neck.

Looking like she's going someplace special, she sits on the shelf and waits. Her bright eyes make her look excited and ready to go. She's simply adorable.

If she has a name, I don't see it on her tag, so I'm calling her Lulu for now. I'm not sure it really suits her, but it's better than nothing.

Boyd's Bears was started by a couple who loved antiques, but couldn't afford them. They moved to Boyd, Maryland and began to make antique reproductions based on items they loved. They now make stuffed bears, figurines, calendars and other items. Their business is now huge and Boyd's Bears are collected by people all over the world.

Each item is well made and the detail is wonderful. They make great gifts, such as the Birthday Bear, or treat yourself to something.
