I began collection Boyds Bears figurines a long time ago after my mother bought me one when I graduated from college. They have become a little guilty pleasure for me. I love going into various gift shops to see the great selection that these come in. They have figurines for just about every holiday and occasion. I should mention that Boyds Bears figurines are not just bears...they offer cats, moose, and many other animals. These figurines are great quality and just so cute. They have ones where a bear is holding a number. I bought this set from numbers 1-5 for my son for each of his birthdays up until his 5th birthday. Boyds Bears figurines are great to give as gifts, even to someone who does not collect them. I am so glad that Boyds decided to expand upon their stuffed animals and do these figurines. I plan on passing these down to one of my children, as they are a great collector's item.
