I always keep hard candy with me. It helps when my mouth feels dry and it also helps to still cravings so I always pick some up while grocery shopping. I usually buy candy in bulk so when I saw this candy in the bulk candy bins I decided to try some. It's called Soda Poppers and it is made by Brachs. It's a cute idea and the candy itself looks just like a can of soda pop. The taste, however, was bad. Very bad.

Soda Poppers are hard candy in popular soft drink flavors. The flavors offered are Dr. Pepper, 7-Up, Orange Crush and A & W Root Beer. As soon as I got home I popped an Orange Crush in my mouth. It was really good and tasted just like an Orange Crush soda. I was in for a big disappointment with the other flavors however.

The Dr. Pepper tasted like a cough drop, the 7-Up tasted like burned plastic smells and the A & W root beer was no better. Too bad the Orange Crush isn't sold separately because it really tasted good. Of course, everyone's taste is different but it is hard for me to believe there are people who like this candy. Yuck!
