Brand New is an alternative rock band that is highly known for their deep lyrics. Deja Entendu is Brand New's 2nd CD, a huge step-up from their full length debut. Deja Entendu is considered by many to be a work of art. Although Brand New is considered Alternative Rock, Deja Entendu is very soft and easy to listen to. You can't help but sing along to the entire CD. Jesse, the singer, is great at writing songs with deep meaning. I personally think every song on the CD is a work of art, but they had a video for the song "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows." Some of my favorite tracks off the CD are "Jaws Theme Swimming" and "Me vs. Madonna vs. Elvis." Overall I'd highly recommend Brand New to anyone who is a fan of Alternative Rock, it really is one of my favorite CDs ever.
