This hand blender is good for making paste or chutneys, beating eggs or milkshakes. Blends items that are big enough to fit in the glass container. Does a great job. Bit small and messy to use sometimes, just have to work carefully that's all. It's handy. You can take it to a friend's house if they don't have blender and you're planning to cook. I've taken it with me before. I would suggest buying the one that comes with chopper and then you're covered, that's all you need. I would say it does take some time to completely puree something. For most, I would recommend something with more power. Just shop around to see what fits your needs. But Braun product is good and dependable. Had this one for years. It's really sleek and compact and doesn't take up any room on my counter. Works for me!
