Reviewing: Braun Body Epilator
Purchased at: Super Mall

Silp epil ever soft epilator comes with efficiency pro clip, 4 way moving pain softener and tweezer. It promises a soft and mild epilation and a perfect hair removal experience. I had bought this with all these keeping in mind. But guess what, I was just startled on the very first use. It was not only harsh and severe but also left my skin with inflammation. I thought, it was very harsh and painful. And let me tell you I do not have a low threshold of pain. At first I thought, it was due to first use and I must have missed the major instructions. However, even after a few more usages I concluded that it is just not for me. Its extremely painful and the very site of it leaves me with a bad feeling.

The money and the time went ashtray. I would not recommend anyone this. A very bad experience altogether.

Thumbs down!

Update On May 05, 2010: Between writing the review and this update, I had tried this epilator two times more. Just an endeavor to assure myself that it's not really worth the pain. If you ask me, I have a high threshold for pain and not quite a delicate kind but some how I get panic attack on thinking of using it. Whatever, I did try a couple of more times and trust me both the times it was awfully painful! I ended up having a very unnerving feeling. So, I have decided that I am not going to try this anymore. However, having said this, it is like a keepsake since my sister had bought this for me and it's darn precious. But some things are better treasured that used. Hope you understand what I mean.

I agree, I too bought one of these and the pain was insane! (and this from the woman who thought childbirth wasn't too bad!) I would NEVER recommend these elements of torture!

LOL come on these are "virtually painless" ha ha. I think that what I read on the package in between my screams LOL I will say on the legs the more times I used it the less it seemed to hurt. HOWEVER, I quit using mine because it was causing ingrown hair and by that I mean I could see the hair but it was under a thin layer of skin. Under the arms I never got use to it. It was faster and easier to just use a razor. I really think from the love hate reviews I have seen on this product it depends on the type of hair you have. My epilator I think was a different brand but they all pretty much work the same from what I have experienced.
