I just recently had to replace my kitchen garbage can. I had one of the nicer ones that a pedal that opened it. Eventually the pedal started to rip off and I knew I had to start looking for a new one. All my appliances in my kitchen are stainless steel and black. My old garbage can was the stainless stell kind and to be honest it was kind of difficult to keep shiny and clean. I found myself at Walmart looking at all the different ones they had to offer and found this one.

The Brawny garbage can is black in color and made of a strong plastic. It's the average size of 13 gallons. What I like best about it is it has a dual swing lid. This means I can drop something in, or if it starts to get full I can lift the lid and stuff it in...lol. Also another wonderful feature is it has a handle-lock system that secures the bags so that they don't slip down the inside if you put something heavy in there. The bags are easy to remove because it has a leak proof venting and foothold sytem. This eliminates the vacuum and allows you to easily remove the garbage bag.

I am very happy with this trash can. I really only got it until I got another one like I had before, but I am so happy with it that I am going to keep it.
