Breathe Right?
By Tink on - Updated Oct 15, 2011I have a deviated septum in my left nostril and I probably should have had surgery to correct it many years ago, but I didn't.Now I'm having trouble when it gets dry in the house or I have a cold.I can't breath out of that side of my nose at those times.I remember the commercial about Breathe Right Strips on television so I decided to give them a try.
I got the small/medium size strips.I think this is a good fit for me.They also come in medium/large strips too.I read the directions and it said to apply to your nose on a clean dry surface. So I did just that after I washed and dried my face, before heading to bed. Peel off the backing and apply it to your nose. That's it! You need to get these in the correct position which isn't that hard, just follow the illustration on the box.I applied pressure and it stuck on my nose with no problems.I almost immediately noticed that my breathing was clearer. It opens up the passages without using any drugs. This really made me happy.
If you have a sunburn or skin irritation, don't use it.It can be used for up to 12 hours a day, so don't leave it on all day.It would look rather silly to walk around all day with it on anyways!I used it at night and had better breathing in my 8 hours of sleep.
If you are having problems breathing because of a cold, or trouble sleeping because your nose gets all plugged up when you lay down, get some of these and breathe better!
Oh and one tip from my husband about these nasal strips...... he uses them when he works out for better breathing.
Update On Nov 09, 2008: Darn....how did that happen?I meant to rate this product a 5...guess I didn't look when I was clicking the numbers...oops !It' should be a 5 overall rating and effectiveness.Sorry about that!

I wonder why you only rated this a 2 since your text seems quite positive. Hubby can't sleep at night without these. We think they are great!
Thanks Sharky....someone else just pm'd me to tell me the same thing. I meant to rate it a 5.....just did an update there to correct my error!
