Breathing Easier By dearcleng on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I've suffered from extreme allergies all my life from food allergies to skin allergies. I've been on and off almost every brand name allergy medicine for as long as I could remember and the only one I fell back on for a long time was Benadryl though it constantly caused me to pass out for the rest of the day and night. My mother recommended to me to take this though I was skeptical because I had already tried Allegra and Claritin with no luck and ever since I tried it, I've been happy. It's given me the freedom to not worry about feeling drowsy and it's also helped me fight off sudden allergic reactions to food. I carry it around in my purse for emergency sakes and I've also recommended it to friends who even agree that they'll never try anything else.
Walitin Walgreens Brand Claritin Generic Brand Claritin

Interesting that the generic brand works for you while the brand-name one did not.
I've found that as my body chemistry begins to react to more and more lately that Brand names tend to offer less and less relief, perhaps sensitized? Generics have started to become more common purchases. Not certain if it's their chemical makeup that is different (all it takes is one ingredient difference) but there are some very good generics on the market lately that seem to work better for me as well. Thanks for the info.
