This is the world renown Breville Ikon Kettle, world renown mostly for its almost light speed water boiling capacity. This has won many awards around the world for being the fastest boiler, and really I cant see why it hasnt. It is probably as 10 times as fast as any types I've seen/used before which is always good. However I have noticed that as it ages, the timing that it takes to boil a full load of water is definatly slowing down. This is very annoying considering that this does not have a warentee option. The holding capacity of the kettle far more outweighs other varietys that I've had. Another good thing about this kettle is that it really looks modern, and can be the center of attention in anybodies kitchen. The cheapness is fairly reasonable, considering all the attention that this product has been recieving.
