If you love horses or know someone who does you may want to consider investing in Breyer model horses. The Breyer company has been around for almost 60 years and have always produced beautifully detailed and life like models. Thier main line is horses but they do offer other animals as well.

These models are tough enough for your children to play with and beautiful enough and detailed enough to be true collectibles that will maintain and even gain in value especailly if kept in mint condition. The gray one in the above pictures I have had for about 30 years. They are made to last! The models come in many sizes including: 1:9, 1:12, 1:24 and 1: 32 scale.
