breyer unicorns

I am a collector of Breyer Unicorns. I have always loved unicorns. And one day I saw a Breyer unicorn that I had bought. This was my first Breyer unicorn i had ever bought so I never kept it in the package just kinda set it somewhere in the house. (I ended up buying this same unicorn again paying more then the original cost to find out that was still in the box) It was not til many years later that I noticed breyer unicorns were collectable. Actually to be exact I purchased a family from QVC. And that is when I started collecting Breyers. But what I enjoy about Breyers is the price is really good. And you are not limited to just one style, Their is so many different colors out their. Some stand in different positions. Varies from plastic to porcealin. Most of them you can keep the unicorn in the box and can still see the unicorn, so you do not have to open the box and ruin the value. And alot of them have since retired so the value has gone up alot for most. Althought the retired ones are rather hard to find. Well worth the search. I would say for anyone who likes unicorns try getting involved with Breyers Unicorns They are great. If nothing else they make for GREAT toy for little ones if not collecting ( as they also come in horses for toys as well)
