Steve Martin + Queen Latifah = Outrageously funny!!! "Bringing Down the House" is a comedy starring these two actors and is one of the funniest there is. I had actually forgotten how funny until I pulled it out to do thiew review. I only had a vague memory of the movie so I watched it first, and I laughed so hard my side hurt. These two comedians are so strikingly different that combining them was a big hit.

Latifah plays the role of Charlene, an ex-con who wants Peter (Martin) to represent her and prove her innocence. Martin plays the role of the straight-laced lawyer well and can't believe Charlene's antics. Actually though they both have great influences on each other as Peter helps Charlene get her act together, and Charlene helps Peter loosen up and enjoy life a little more.
