Bringing Out the Dead was released in 2000 and the run time is about two hours. Martin Scorsese directed the movie. Nicolas Cage, Patricia Arquette and John Goodman are just a few of the actors that star in this movie. In the movie, Nicolas Cage plays a paramedic who works the graveyard shift. Soon he becomes tired of his job. He is just "run-down". During this time he starts to see dead people. These dead people are the ones that he was not able to save while he was on his route.

Patricia Arquette plays the daughter of one of the heart attack victims that he could not save. She has several issues of her own that she is having to deal with. The two of them meet and both help each other out with their problems.

When this movie was first released I thought that it would be a good movie. So I was excited to watch the movie. I was really disappointed. The movie was boring to me. Most of the scenes take place at night which makes it difficult to see the scenes in the movie. After watching the movie one time I have to admit that I have not seen it anymore.
