Brita Pitcher

Brita Pitcher Water Filtration is a convenient way to filter water from your tap. I purchased the pitcher at my local store which included a filter. Filter refills can be purchased there also. The pitcher is clear with a white lid and internal housing with filter.The handle is gray. You can purchase various sizes. I chose the grand model large capacity 10 cups. There is an electronic filter change indicator. The pitcher is easy to set up. Once purchased, just wash the pitcher and internal housing in warm gentle dishsoap. I washed the lid with just water due to the electronic indicator. You need to submerge the water filter in cold water for about 15 minutes then rinse it with cold water then place it in the housing correctly. You must also run two full pitchers of water through the filter before drinking it. So run the water through once then dump then do it again and dump. Your set to go. Hold the start button down & follow directions so indicator will show when filter needs changed again. You can store the pitcher in the refrigerator. Pretty simple. The filter gets changed every 2 months.The filter keeps fluoride at healthy levels. Reduces lead,copper,mercury,cadmium and benzene as stated on the box.The filtration is carbon and ion. Just read the box. If you have water issues,brita can be an alternative.
