Brita provides a range of water filters for everyones needs. This particular model is compact and can hold up to 8 cups or 40 fluid ounces. The package includes the pitcher, the filtration compartment, a filter and a lid. The filter is recommended to be changed every 2 months or every 40 gallons, whichever comes first. This is a decent filter lifetime but I would of liked a filter that lasted longer since the cost of a filter is over half of the value of the pitcher. The dripping time of the water from the filtration compartment to the drinking compartment is very fast and it takes less than 3 minutes to fill up the pitcher. Visible carbon particles can be seen in the filtration compartment and provides a visual for the user to see what is being filtered out. Brita has produced a slim, compact designed pitcher that provides cool and cleaner water to households. Take a look into their various sized pitcher or even the built in faucet filter if you are looking to filter out your tap water.
