Brita Water Pitcher By Tink on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I bought this Brita water pitcher because I wanted to cut down on the bottles of water we were buying each week. This is a nice sized pitcher. When you bring it home, make sure you wash it out. Unwrap the replacement filter and run water over it to clear out the charcoal particles. Once it ran clear I was ready to start filtering the water into my pitcher. I filled the top of the pitcher with water. It takes a minute or two for the water to filter down into the pitcher. Continue doing this until the pitcher is full. It does an excellent job of removing lead and sediment from the tap water, which can give your water a bad taste. Each filter will clean about 40 gallons of water. The replacement filters come in multi-packs for added savings. I love the way my filtered water tastes and I'm saving money! Highly recommended!

I need to get anohter one of these--I used ot have one for the same reasons you have it.
I know several people who use these all the time to make their water extra clean, or taste better, or both.
I totally need one of these - the well water we get at our apartment is questionable and a tap filter doesn't work because we have slightly low water pressure (so we get a slight trickle).
I had one of these and they were pretty good.
Well if this isn't just the neatest product! I will definitely get one of these!
We use ours frequently. Thanks for the info on this, it's a great product worth the money if your water needs the filtering.
