I purchased the Britax Marathon two years ago based upon the high rating it received for safety.It was recommended by several friends, but I was never convinced the price was worth it.It proved the reviews true recently when we were in a car accident and my daughter was uninjured and the seat appear to be unharmed as well.Thank goodnes I listened to the experts.

I also love the different seat covers they are trendy and fun.But I really dislike that that you have to take theseat out of the car to wash the cover.It is easy to install and definitely worth the extra cost for the peace of mind that my daughter is as safe as possible in the car.

I'm glad to hear the car seat held up well in an accident. We've had our marathon since DS was 6 months old and he'll be in it for a long time to come.
