We did a lot of research before purchasing a car seat for our daughter as we wanted to make sure we got her the safest seat possible. We ended up choosing the Britax Marathon and we are glad that we did. Installing the seat the first time was a little tricky, but neither of us had ever installed a car seat before. Now, it is very easy. It simply latches into place using the LATCH system. Three clicks is all it takes to install the seat. This seat is pretty big, but it will last as long as your child needs a car seat. We brought our 7-pound daughter home from the hospital in it, and it will last her until she is 60 pounds. Even though it is fairly expensive, we only had to buy ONE car seat instead of the three that many parents buy. This carseat has a ton of padding and the liner part is easily removed and can be washed. The only thing that is tricky about this seat is adjusting the straps when the child gets taller, but this only needs to be done about once a year. Overall, I would highly recommend this seat to anyone, and it's the only one we will ever trush our daughter in.
