Brite Smile To Go! By Chocollette on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

With a plethera of tooth whitening products on the market, I have been interested in maintaining a nice, white smile but did not know which products would be right for my sensitive teeth.

Having sensitive teeth, I never tried white strips or even whitening toothpastes for fear that they would make my teeth even more sensitive. While watching QVC one day, I saw a presentation for the Brite Smile tooth pens. Usually, a set of two whitening pens costs about $30.00 but I was unsure of taking the tooth plunge to order them. On this particular day though, Brite Smile had a "try me" kit where you could sample three of the whitening pens for a little over $17.00 (with QVC and their try me kits, you are limited to purchasing only one item because of the low prices) so I decided to order them.

The set of three pens come in original (which is a mint flavor), winterberry (which tastes like cinnamon), and vanilla mint. These are only sample sizes of .05 ounces apiece which should last approximately two weeks each-just enough to wet your appetite and see if you would like to purchase larger sizes.

Application of the pen is extremely easy. Initially, you have to click it a few times to prime it until the clear gel is on the brush applicator. After the gel is on the brush, you simply brush each tooth. If you have a tooth or teeth that is a little more yellow than the rest, they recommend brushing that area a little bit longer. For two weeks, Brite Smile recommends using this twice a day and after that, use as needed.

I have only used this for a few weeks and this has not triggered any sensitivities to my teeth. I have noticed that one of my teeth that is a little more yellow than the others is whitening to match the rest of my teeth so this makes me extremely happy!! I will definitely purchase the larger sizes after I finish these! For the record, my favorite flavor is the vanilla mint-yum!

Sounds great, I am always afraid of wasting the money on them. I would love a product that works.
