By Karen onFor my home business, I own a Brother Laser Intellifax 2800 fax machine, which I bought at Staples for $289.00.This machine has many good features.It also copies besides faxing.The machine will hold up to 200 sheets, prints 10 pages per minute, and has a 14.4K bps fax modem.Toner for the machine is available at Staples for $29.99.My Brother fax machine has given me good service.It is a reliable, easy-to-use piece of equipment, and I've had no problems with it to date.The faxes that I receive come to me exactly the way they were sent, and the same applies to the faxes I send out.The machine also has a memory so if I run out of paper while something is being faxed to me, the fax is stored in memory and will print out for me when I press the fax start button.The machine has an LED window which tells me when the machine is printing, sending, receiving, and when a paper jam occurs (which is easy to correct).The window readout also tells me when toner is low, so I can replace it before it runs out.This is definitely a nice, reliable piece of equipment.
Thanks for the information about the features of this fax machine and including the price of the toner cartridges. I know that is something we don't always think of before we purchase a new machine and then have sticker shock when we have to replace it.

I really love how you added where to purchase the toner and for how much. This is something that we sometimes forget to think about when purchasing a machine and even one that works as well as you describe this one too might be too pricey with sky high toner prices.
