I have my own home office, and I own a Brother Cool Laminator, Model LX900, purchased from Office Depot for $149.99. This laminator does a super job. One feature I especially like is that it is a cool laminator, meaning it does not use heat in order to seal the lamination to the document. It will laminate both sides of a document up to 8.5 inches wide. I have laminated both business and personal documents with this machine, and the lamination affords great protection to my documents. The lamination refill rolls are available at Office Depot for $30.00. This machine automatically trims the lamination on the sides, top and bottom, leaving a very small border around the edges of the document. It is a compact size and does not take up a lot of room on my desk, which I really appreciate. I use my laminator often, and I am very well pleased with the professional results it gives me.
