Buckleys. Tastes bad, works GOOD.

I have a cough and here comes mum with the Buckleys. NOOO! I do not like the taste. I repeat. I do not like the taste of this medication. At all. But even the makers know this. "It taste's awful" the package says in the back. But they also go on to truthfully say "And it works." And works it does.

I don't know what exactly it is that makes Buckleys stop my cough, but it does. I developed a hacking cough this week. All I had to do was take some Buckley's (after much protest, how childish of me) and it calmed right down. I still had a few occasional hacks here and there, but it worked! Honestly, even though it tastes bad, it's not THAT bad. It has the taste of, well. How you'd imagine Vick's Vaporub would taste due to the smell with an odd oozy texture. But even THAT won't stop me, OR stop the fact that it works. I keep using it. I keep buying it. Mum keeps chasing me down with the spoon. I'm now taking it myself. Get Buckley's! You'll hate the taste...but you'll LOVE how it works!
