Budget shredder
By Dom Sim onBefore I get this paper shredding,I was using the old grandmother's way of burning my unwanted documents. Since i am polluting the air, I decided to buy a cheap but usable paper shredder for my home use.
Cons: It is good looking and works very well for me who does not shred so much paper at a time and shreds only when the needs arises. It comes with one year warranty. This paper shredder can be mounted on the wall too. I like the slide out waste paper baskets which makes the emptying of the basket easier.
Pros; The capacity is small hence it can only shred five sheets per pass and I have to make very sure that the papers to be shredded are closely aligned. It does have some difficulties when shredding staples attached, so everytime I also have to remove the staples before shredding. It is definitely not for office use. With that price range I didn't expect it to be very durable too.
It sounds like this shredder is perfect for home use & I think it's cool that you stopped burning documents so you can help preserse the environment!!

Thanks for giving us the pros and the cons of this machine. Sounds like it can be a little annoying. I like that it can be mounted on the wall though.
I need to get me on of these instead of ripping stuff up always lol!!
