When I first learned of the store called Build a Bear Workshop I had to go in and check it out. The concept was great. I loved how you could pick out your own animal and then make it yours. The customer service has always been wonderful and you always feel welcome in there. Its the kind of store that brings you back to your childhood. Being a mother, I think I enjoyed it as much as my child did.
You first start out by picking out a stuffed animal and they do have a good selection. Once you pick out your new friend you can add sounds to make it sing or talk before you stuff it. The machine that stuffs it is really cool to look at both for kids and adults! After you are done stuffing then if you would like you get to dress your new friend. I thought the outfits and accessories they had were great. There was a huge selection for everyone. But thats not it then you get to name your new animal, get a birth cerfiticate, and even a box house for it!
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Build a Bear. My only complaint is after paying for the animal and everything else it can turn out to be quite expensive. I think they should have a set price on how much it is to build an animal that includes dressing it. Other than that I would tell anyone that its a great place not only for the kids but for the adults too!

My grandson as a 'Build-A-Bear", and it's sooo cuddly!
I have several friends who have purchased these for their kids. I agree they are expensive. I remember how much I loved my stuffed animals as a kid and always had at least one to sleep with. If I was a parent, I would definetly want to purchase at least one of these for my kid.
My youngest son loves build a bear. It can get expensive when you start buying the accessories.
