The idea of Build a Bear is you create you own stuffed animal, you pick out his or her cloths, and you give you new friend a name. Customer Service is always friendly and they have a great rewards program. The Quality of the animals are great if they ever tear they fix them for free. You are even welcome to bring you animals it the store to shop for new outfits.
My son loves Buld a bear, few years ago my husband created a bear for my son at Build a Bear and his name is Mr. Bear. Mr Bear has a wardrobe the size of my shoe closet and I have alot of shoes. Mr. Bear has been a Jedi master from star wars, a police officer, firefighter, basketball player, Buzz Lightyear, woody, a motorcycle rider, he has even vacationed in hawii. Evey year my son get gift card for Build a Bear and he always enjoys going in and picking out Mr. Bear a new outfit. My son has taken him all over diffrent states like California, Oregon, and Boston. Mr. Bear's passport is stamped more times than mine (yes he really has a passport). Build a Bear has been a fun and rewarding experence for my son he treats Mr. Bear like a child. The relationship he has developed with his bear is so funny because the have a love hate relationship.

Here where i live ,we have Vt Teddy Bears and we are able to go and build bears also- the kids love this.
We had a Build a Bear workshop in my area which closed down. What a shame.
