Bunny Abodes By Leith Petwerks
By Joni Lambert onWe have a bunny named Benny. We got him when he was only a few months old. We'd had bunnies before and understand that bunnies need to run and play. This is especially true if you're busy, like we are.On rare occassion, I've found myself working such long days that Benny doesn't get his usual play time out of his hutch. This is why I opted to get him an extre special, extra-roomy hutch. The Bunny Abode from Leith Petwerks is a multi-level hutch.Benny's litterbox is on the first floor. There is a ramp that he can run up to get to the second floor of his condo. This is where he keeps his toys and hay.The hutch was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The only thing I didn't like when the hutch was delivered was that it came with a green, felt carpeting. This was really surprising in a product for rabbits, who are notorious chewers.Carpet is known to cause intestinal blockages in bunnies.Other than this, though, I have been very please with this product - and so is Ben.

We are so happy you and Ben are enjoying the condo. We've been making people and bunnies happy since the mid 90's, and we have no intention of stopping! Recently I've had a slew of contacts from customers who have had their condos for three, five, TEN years... and who are all talking about what a fantastic value the condo is when you consider its quality and longevity. Scot and I can't help but smile when we know so many people have been so happy for so long! As for the carpet, it's one of those things (of many) that a responsible owner needs to monitor. Many bunnies will not ingest carpeting, thus access to carpeting is fine. Then there are those who will eat the deep shag AND pad in a 3500 square foot house... in which case they should be kept away from carpeting at all costs. =-) I hope you've been back to visit us recently, for we've got a lot of great new items, and tons of helpful information and plain cute bunny entertainment through our newsletter, blog and Twitter updates!
