Burberry Brit Perfume for Women is a clean scent that really works well with my body chemistry. It's an elegant, youthful scent with fragrance notes of almond, floral, vanilla, limes and pears. Sweet and spicy at the same time, it seems to smell better once it has settled in on the skin, about an hour after first applying it. It is definitely a fall a winter scent for me... somehow it just doesn't smell right in the summer. It isn't that the scent changes - it's just that this is such a warm and comforting scent, sort of like wearing your favorite sweater on a cool day. It has great staying power on the skin, around 8 hours. Don't judge Brit by how it smells in the bottle, nor by how it smells when you first apply it! This is one perfume that needs a little time to "age" on your skin before all the fragrance notes come together as they are supposed to be. This unique perfume is quite feminine and will always have a place in my collection.
