Burgundy Tote - 17.3 Laptop Case

This is NOT my husband's laptop case! And I wasn't about to get the same bag I bought my husband because that would only cause confusion with us both having the same bag and having to make sure we grabbed the correct one. After all, I LOVE my new laptop. Getting the traditional black bag looked to be my only option.

Finding a laptop tote, bag or case for a 17.3" laptop is no easy task. It's either you find one and it's over $100 or the ones that should hold the laptop are not true to size. We were checking out some "Work Totes" for my new laptop and another problem I found is that the totes I liked, I wasn't able to zip up the bag or they only had a pull over strap. That surely would not keep my laptop safe from being easily taken from the bag or worse yet - the bag falling over and the laptop slipping out and getting damaged.

We don't have many stores in our area and it appeared I was going to be heading to Fort Myers to look around, until we tried Targetthe other night.

I found my bag. They actually had a black tote and this burgundy one.

These totes are mainly for women to carry all of their stuff in and can also take the place of your purse. It has a key ring that's sewn/built in; a cell phone case that almost holds my iPhone (at least the phone slips into the holder - I just can't snap it shut); there's a laptop slim case but of course my laptop is too large for it. I will give that to a friend.

It also has several pockets inside (one with a zipper) and 2 large pockets outside with magnetic snaps.

The bottom of the tote has 4 metal "feet" so the tote won't get all scratched up when placing it on the ground.

The top of the tote has a zipper that secures my laptop safely inside.

2 large self standing straps/handles make it easy to bend down and pick up the tote - without the straps falling down.

Finding this tote for only $29.99 and then getting it on SALE for $26.99 made me quite happy.
