Even though this product is supposed to be "sheer color", it has quite a bit more pigment than I expected. Perhaps merlot is just not my shade. This product is 100% natural, and it is offered in a wide variety of colors. It is fragrance free, but it does contain good-for-your-lips oils (sunflower oil, castor oil, peppermint oil, rosemary leaf oil). The peppermint oil gives a wonderful tingly feeling. Sinks into your lips to nourish. Lasts a long time, but if you are eating or drinking frequently, you can reapply it as often as needed. There is not a lot of packaging; the product comes in a slim plastic tube that is very portable. This product was not tested on animals. I will definitely purchase this in the future, but I will have try different shades to find out which ones work for me and which ones don't.
