Cabinet Trim paint

This paint is a melamine finish. It is an interior alkyd paint. It is more for cabinets. But we purchased it to do the trim around the door frames in our house. We wanted a paint that we can wash and not have it wear off. We have to many children that love to touch the door frames in this house and I am for ever washing them. So we needed this paint to help with that. I really liked the way it turned out and only needing two coats. It is a thicker paint and was tiring using a brush to apply it. But worth the energy. This paint is formulated to provide excellent durability and abrasion resistance too. Just make sure your surface is clean and dry before applying and you will end up with a smooth looking cabinet, trim or what you choose to paint using this kind of paint. This does not wash off of your skin without alot of scrubing and many bathes, so make sure you are careful when using this paint. I also found this paint to splatter a wee bit too. Nice finish though.
