Cabo San Lucas Mexico
By Veronica Acosta onI am the type of person who loves to travel, but can only afford to do it locally. Well for the first time in my life I was able to hop on a plane and head to Cabo San Lucas Mexico, for my honeymoon. The plane trip was a short 5 hr flight out of Los Angeles. When arriving in Cabo you have to go to the nearest airportwhich is a town called Los Cabos. It's a good twenty to thirty minute drive to Cabo San Lucas from there. When people think of traveling to Mexico, most people worry about the poverty issues, however while there, We did not see such a thing. I really felt, as Cabo San Lucas's Locals cater to tourist, and most have even gone as far as learning english. In fact most people we spoke to knew english. My husband and I both speak spanish, but I think that it is a plus for those that dont speak any spanish. The resorts in Cabo San Lucas are all pretty spread out, so be expected to find a cab or shuttle in to town. Also the food at most resorts can be a bit on the pricier side, so try to eat while you are in town to save yourself some money. Most restaurants in town are extremely cheap, and have the most delicious food. And as for recreation, there is tons of things to do while in Cabo, such as Scooba Diving, parasailing, atv rentals, and tons more. And I really could not have wished for a more romantic destination for my honeymoon.

This was our first choice for our honeymoon in 2006 but there was so much red tape at the time we went somewhere else, but we do want to go eventually.
I have a picture of Cabo for wallpaper on my computer. I would love to go there!
