Reviewing: Kroger Calcium Soft Chews
Purchased at: Kroger     Price: $60.00 USD

As I get older (ready to hit the big 50!), I am starting to think more and more about ways to stay as healthy as possible. One of the problems older woman can start to experience is bone loss caused by osteoporosis. In order to prevent or lessen the chances of getting the disease doctors recommend getting more calcium and Vitamin K in your diet.I found a great way to get the Calcium in a supplement.Kroger has a Calcium soft chew that is comparable to Viactiv for a much better price. These supplements are in a small, individually wrapped, chocolate chew. The taste is excellent!I just chew two a day to get the recommended daily allowance of Calcium, Vitamin K and D.These can even be taken by children 4 years and older.I have occasionally given them to my four-year-old grandson and he likes the taste too.Calcium is just as important for growing bones in children.

There have been reports out recently that say Vitamin D lowers the risk of breast cancer, so this supplement not only helps with bone health but also helps in the prevention of breast cancer.

If you want an easy way to get Calcium, Vitamin D & K into your diet, I would recommend these highly!

I have found several Kroger products to be as good as name brands. Thanks for another example of this.

I tried Viactiv and found the aftertaste horrid enough I threw the box away. If these taste better, then I'm willing to give them a try.

My sil gave me a few of these, I have knee problems and she swears by them for her knees. I didn't find any bad after taste and they actually tasted like the flavors they were suppose to be (chocolate and orange were the ones I tried). Easy to chew, digest and not all that expensive either. Thanks for the info
