Call of Duty 4

Call of Duty 4 is easily in the top 5 games out for the playstation 3 right now, and definetly the best shooter by far. To put it simply if you are at all interested in online shooter games, go buy call of duty 4, right now.
The multiplayer is excellent, however the reason that I have rated it at a 4.4 is because too often (about once a day or so) the servers go down and no one can play. In addition to that, if your into split screen multiplayer, call of duty lacks at that too. You cant go online, and the mode choices in offline split screen are lacking. But when you do get online, theres no doubt, call of duty 4 is great. Even if your very new to console style shooters youll find yourself ranking up in no time as the game is also quite friendly to new players.
The single player is also decent, but doesnt nearly measure up into comparison with the online play. Its very short, and if you can imagine the worst war movie youve ever seen with D list actors, the script is like that and the action often plain unexciting. It trys too hard at making a good single player experience and fails, I would not buy this game if I could not play it online, bottom line.
