Call of Duty 4
By Tristan Cole onCall of Duty 4 is the fourth installment into the Call of Duty series. This new installment brings something new to the series; modern day combat. All of the older Call of Duty games were based around World War II, but this one is based on present day matters, such as the war in Iraq. It is an in-depth game, and well put together. However, it is short, and for people that only play single player, that can be annoying.
Call of Duty 4 has a buzzing multiplayer community. There is thousands of people playing online. Some people say that this is the best game ever. I, however, do not believe this. The game is good, and offers enough, but there is nothing seperating it from other first person shooters. The online can get repetitive, and is also hard. Users have been playing for a couple months now, and gain things called "perks". This can be very annoying for new players as the "perks" make the game unfair sometimes. This creates a problem.
Overall, the game is good. Great graphics, a good story, and bustling multiplayer if you are into it. If you like multi-player, def. get this game. It will be a great installment for you. If you do not like multi-player though, the single player can still hold you down. It is good, but short, so your call.
