Call of duty 4: Modern Warefare was one of the most anticipated games for 2007. Infinit Ward (the creators of Call of duty 2) returns to develop a product that is quite simply in the running for game of the year. I have not finished the campaign yet but for the couple of hours that I have been playing the game, i can say that it does nothing to dissappoint me. The game is fun while also very challenging. The graphics are AMAZING and photorealistic. A weakness of this game is that the single player campaign is very short, comming in at about seven or eight hours. However, the campaign has a very good, varied story line with many different kinds of missions. The modern setting of the game is very similar to what the real problems in the middle east today and is very exciting to play something other than the played out world war scene. The shortness of the single player mode is overshadowed by its excellent online gameplay. This is possibly the best multiplayer game because of its excitment and customizable ability online. If you are looking for a solid shooter with amazing online play, this game should get a long look.
