Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare By Phreakuency By Phreakuency on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Intro
The Call of Duty series has long since been Activision's staple product, a following almost no other company can match. The reasons for this are quite clear. Call of Duty 4 is the first CoD to bring the series into the modern day combat scenario, and they do it with style.
Gameplay
Just as with any other PC shooter, the WASD keys will be worn out quite quickly. The singleplayer campaign contains a significant amount of material, alternating between American and British forces in an attempt to capture nuclear weapons, a theme that although occurs much more then we would like never seems to get old.
Quality
Activisions products have always been well programmed and patched, a reason why I am and will continue to be an Activision fan. Call of Duty 4 is no different, the exceptional quality put into the programming is apparent by the amount of detail even the most modest machines can run. Although not as squad based as other first person shooters such as Battlefield, the action is non stop. If you are a fan of First Person Shooters, Call of Duty 4 is a must.
