If you want the best price possible on Calphalon cookware, you ned look no further than Amazon.com. I don't know how they do it! This pan retails for $168.00, and would b e worth the money at that price. It almost feels like I am stealing something to get such a quality piece of cookware for such a low price!

Now, about the pan - They call this an Everyday pan for a good reason. You can make almost anything in it! It's a good-sized pan, 12 inches across. It comes with a tight-fitting lid. It's about 4 inches deep, and HEAVY, which means it heats evenly. It will go from the stovetop into the oven, and back out again. Extremely versatile! The handles are heatproof when the pan is used on top of the stove. It is NOT a non-stick pan, but I have not noticed anything sticking whatsoever. If you use very high heat, you might have a sticking problem, but if you are a knowledgeable cook, you won't have a problem. For me, it cleans up easily. It's just a joy to cook with Calphalon!

I would not advise putting this pan into the dishwasher, using metal untensils with it, or using harsh scrubbers like Brillo if you want your pan to stay in good shape for many years to come. My pan still looks like new after a LOT of use! I highly recomment this cookware.
