Calphalon Commercial 8 12 Quart Pan By Bluemoonjo on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this pan two years ago. It has been very durable, and still looks great.

I love that it can go from the stove top straight into the oven. I can add a bit of oil, fry my onion, brown a roast with seasonings, add vegtables, then stick the whole thing in the over to bake. Then I only have one pan to clean. I even just sit it on the table to serve dinner out of, so I don't have to dirty up extra dishes.

It is great for making big batches of soup or chili. I cook, serve, wait for it to cool, put it the fridge, then just pull it out and put on the stove to reheat. It holds plenty for 6 people to eat two meals, and plenty of leftovers for lunches, snacks or company.

I bought another brand of frying pan at the same time, and have already had to throw it away because the handle became loose. But this Calphalon pan looks just like it did the day I bought it.

This band is worth the money. I'm hoping to be able to get more pieces.

It is a little bulky to wash by hand in my small sink. So I wash it on the top rack of the dishwasher.
