For my two kids when it comes to fever nothing beats Calpol. Check our fridge and you will see Calpol in different flavors. It is one of my wife's inventories at home that she never tends to forget. Fever can strike any time so we need to be ready with an instant remedy to it for the kids.

It is really hard when my kids all of a sudden get fever. I am a technical person and not a medical one so I get alarm and worry for my kids. Once one of my kids or both get fever we immediately give them a tablespoon of Calpol. We monitor the intake at the rate of 1 tablespoon every four hours. We do not have a hard time giving them Calpol because they are use to it. Calpol immediately reacts and give result by lowering down the fever and my kids sweat.

We ask kids if there is pain anywhere on their body or head that might trigger the fever. But what is important to us as parents is that we have Calpol at home to give them immediate treatment to lower the fever and at least comfort them.
